Snit brings her story to Miss World's designer runway

    By · Published

Snit Habteab Tewoldemedhin represented Eritrea in the World Designer Award segment at Đó Theatre in Nha Trang on August 27, wearing a newspaper-print gown with white draping and gold-toned jewellery. The official broadcast described the printed stories as including her pioneering journey in Eritrean pageantry.

The walk was separate from Top Model qualification. Mauritius won Africa's World Designer Award, while Nigeria won Africa's Top Model title. Eritrea's first Miss World campaign continues alongside Snit's Designing for Diversity disability-inclusion advocacy.

At the August 28, 06:32 UTC check, the official Eventista page also showed Snit first in Africa's People's Choice Round 1 with 5,069,727 points. More than five million points mark a powerful show of support for Snit and Eritrea as she leads Africa’s ongoing People’s Choice race for a Top 40 place.
