Snit leads Africa with over 12 million points on voting deadline day

Snit Habteab Tewoldemedhin holds first place in Africa's People's Choice Round 1 with more than twelve million points as voting enters its final day at Miss World 2026. The official Eventista portal displayed 12,568,427 points on September 4.

The round closes at 22:00 Vietnam time on September 4, equivalent to 18:00 in Eritrea. Each continental winner will secure a place in the Top 40. Snit's lead puts her in contention for that route, with qualification still to be decided when voting closes.

Eritrea's first Miss World representative is also championing disability inclusion through Designing for Diversity, her initiative supporting inclusive learning opportunities for children of all abilities.
