Snit tops ten million points and holds Africa lead

Snit Habteab Tewoldemedhin has topped ten million points while holding first place in Africa's People's Choice Round 1 at Miss World 2026, according to the official voting portal on September 3.

Eritrea's first Miss World representative has made disability inclusion central to her campaign through Designing for Diversity, which promotes inclusive learning opportunities for children of all abilities.

Round 1 closes on September 4 at 22:00 Vietnam time and 18:00 in Eritrea. The continental winners will secure places in the Top 40. Snit leads the African vote, with qualification to be decided when the round closes.
