Snit brings Eritrean culture to the Miss World stage

Snit Habteab Tewoldemedhin represented Eritrea in Miss World's Dances of the World presentation, taking the stage in traditional Eritrean dress during the cultural showcase in Vietnam.

The appearance placed Eritrean heritage before an international audience as contestants presented music, dance and national costumes from their countries. Miss World included Dances of the World in its final-week programme ahead of the September 5 finale.

Snit also remains first in Africa's People's Choice Round 1 with 6,875,492 points at the September 2 verification. Voting closes at 22:00 Vietnam time on September 4, when the continental leader will secure a place in the Top 40. Her position remains provisional until voting ends.

Her Miss World campaign continues to centre Designing for Diversity and its message of disability inclusion.
