Eritreans rally as Snit passes six million points

Snit Habteab Tewoldemedhin passed six million points and remained first in Africa's People's Choice Round 1 at the latest official verification on August 31. Eventista showed Eritrea's first Miss World representative with 6,024,127 points.

Her rise has been accompanied by a wider mobilisation among Eritreans on social media. TikTok creator @monicawitnebelbalmedia, whose account had about 400,000 followers at the latest check, has emerged as one visible rallying point, with recent posts and live activity bringing supporters together around Snit's Miss World campaign.

The milestone also brings greater visibility to Snit's Designing for Diversity campaign and its disability-inclusion message.

Round 1 closes at 22:00 Vietnam time on September 4, when the continental leader will secure a place in the Top 40. Snit's current lead remains provisional until voting ends.
